That was my initial reaction too, but that thing is pretty obviously made of metal. Loki might name it Jormungandr, but I don’t think it’s actually THE Midgard Serpent/his offspring. It’s probably just a giant magical robot snake.

It very well could be. It looks like it could be metal but it could also be really really rough outer armor! It kind of reminds me of a prehistoric fish with the armor and the fins and the way it’s moving!

Also bringing Atlantis back up [lol shut up i love that movie], the Leviathan was a massive robotic lobster war machine that was under the sea for fucking ever. Considering how advanced Asgard appears to be who’s to say that this can’t be a massive robotic god machine thing? lmao
